Brands which does more than just a business

What is the purpose of businesses?

Increasing profit and generating revenue?

That, I must say, is an incomplete evaluation.

Brands not only try to maximize their own profits, but their existence also helps to drive societal change.

Are you curious as to who these brands are and what they do?
Let's go down the page together…

Dochaa:

Which would you choose if you had to choose between being traditional and being fashionable?
Why pick between the two when you can be both?
Dochaa, a Nepali company, offers you one-of-a-kind products that combine heritage and contemporary.
Dochaa's USP is that it has succeeded in bridging the gap between our tradition and today's youth by fusing undervalued arts with modern designs.
Along with that, it also contributes to community empowerment by allowing women to earn a consistent income.

I am the Gardener:

In today's world, where we are obliged to spend the majority of our time in cubicles or places devoid of greenery, brands like I Am the Gardener have come to our rescue, providing us access to green space whenever and wherever we want.

Their plant consulting service can help us make the most of the space we have and turn it into a wonderful green place, whether we want to enhance our indoor space, terrace, or yard.

Which, in turn, will lead to a healthier and more environmentally friendly way of life.

Raging Everest:

Is there such a thing as a 100% Nepali brand? Is that even possible?
Allow me to introduce Raging Everest to you…
It's the first of its type, and yes, it's a 100% NEPALI BRAND.
They demonstrate to ambitious Nepalese brands that premium products can be totally made in Nepal.
They also believe in women's empowerment, and as a result, they donate 5% of their profits to Women Empowerment and Community Development.

AAMO by Aayusha Shrestha:

AAMO is a Nepali brand founded by Aayusha Shrestha with the goal of documenting and preserving indigenous artisans' talents.
Each design is based on the craftsman's  knowledge, cultural practices, and personal experiences.
What distinguishes it from other trademarks?
It is focused not just on its own growth, but also on maintaining the livelihoods of small-scale artists by providing them a platform where they can demonstrate and sell their skills, which were previously on the decline.

Jamarko:

Have you ever given a lesson on environmental preservation to someone?
Almost certainly, the answer is yes.
But, have you ever taken any steps to help the environment?
Okay, it's taking a long time for us to respond to that....

There is a difference between advocating for the environment and taking steps to protect it.
While most of us are content with simply advocating, our Nepali brand, Jamarko, has adopted a proactive approach to the environment by recycling waste papers and converting them into new and valuable items.

These companies have debunked the concept that business is just about making money and selling products. What sets them apart is the influence they have on their communities and the value they provide to their customers.
Their presence has sparked societal transformation and spurred enterprises to follow in their footsteps.
